Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming, Kelli O’Hara to Perform Together at Grammy Ceremony

Several of opera’s big stars will headline the Grammy Premiere Ceremony on Feb. 2, 2025.

Per an official press release from the Recording Academy, Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming, Kevin Puts, and Kelli O’Hara will be amongst the classical artists performing at the event. All four are nominated for Best Opera Recording for the Metropolitan Opera’s “The Hours” and DiDonato, Fleming, and O’Hara will perform the final trio from said work.

DiDonato is also nominated for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for “Wagner: Wesendonck Lieder.”

“The Premiere Ceremony will not only kick off our GRAMMY Sunday, it will provide an opportunity to show that in times of adversity, music has the power to be used for good, to help our community unite, and to show our community’s resilience,” said Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy and MusiCares®, per an official press release. “I look forward to honoring the year in music and being together with our amazing community.”

The event kicks off at 3:30 p.m.
