Joyce DiDonato & Marina Pardo Highlight Festival Internacional Santander’s 2020 Season

The Festival Internacional Santander has announced the 2020 festival.

The Spanish festival will include a number of international artists and several special vocal concerts. For this article, we will only focus on the vocal performances.

Joyce DiDonato and Carrie-Ann Matheson join forces for a recital including music by Haydn, Mozart, Granados, Bellini, and Rossini.

Performance Date: August 8, 2020

Violinist Emilio Moreno and La Real Cámara will be accompanied by soprano María Espada. The performance will be presented in honor of Antonio Caldara and will celebrate the composer’s 350th birthday.

Performance Date: August 13, 2020

Mezzo-soprano Marina Pardo performs a recital accompanied by Kennedy Moretti in works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, and Salieri.

Performance Dates: August 18, 2020

The Collegium Musicum Madrid and Manuel Minguillón will present “Rumbo a Poniente” to commermorate “la Primera Vuelta al Mundo Magallanes-Elcano.” The performance will include two voices, soloists and actor Óscar Zafra.
