
Joyce DiDonato Headlines Met Orchestra Concert at Carnegie Hall
By Francisco SalazarOn June 18, the Met Orchestra alongside Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin will perform at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
The concert will include Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 and the five-song Rückert-Lieder which will be performed by superstar mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato. The concert will also include a short work by Saariaho titled “Lumière et pesanteur.”
This will be the final concert for the Met Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. The ensemble will return next season in February and will also perform in June of 2027.
