Carnegie Hall is set to stream a free masterclass video series as part of its “Learn With Carnegie Hall” series.

The first episode in the series, which features young artists presented by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, kicks off on Oct. 14 with subsequent episodes releasing every Wednesday thereafter.

Of major note for opera lovers is a class featuring mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, which will be released on Oct. 21, 2020. The workshop features the famed opera star working with numerous young artists at workshops in Carnegie Hall since 2015. In the workshop, the artists explore the music of Handel and Puccini. Additionally, DiDonato interviews with Kayleigh Decker, who participated in the program in 2015 and has recently found success at the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Other masterclasses will feature pianist Jonathan Biss and brass musicians Sarah Willis, Hans Peter Schuh, and Dietmar Küblböck.

The programs can be streamed on the company’s official website, Facebook, and YouTube channels.
