The Metropolitan Opera has announced its Live in HD series for the 2023-24 season.

First up is “Dead Man Walking.” Yannick Nézet-Seguin conducts a cast starring Latonia Moore, Joyce DiDonato, Susan Graham, and Ryan McKinny.

Screening Date: Oct. 21, 2023

Next up is “X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X.” Leah Hawkins, Raehann Bryce-Davis, Victor Ryan Roberston, Will Liverman, and Michael Sumuel star in a production by Robert O’Hara. Kazem Abdullah conducts.

Screening Date: Nov. 18, 2023

That will be followed up “Florencia en el Amazonas.” Ailyn Pérez, Gabriella Reyes, Nancy Fabiola Herrera, Mario Chang headline the cast alongside Michael Chioldi, Mattia Olivieri, and Greer Grimsley. Yannick Nézet-Ségui conducts a Mary Zimmerman production.

”Nabucco” will star Liudmyla Monastyrska, Maria Barakova, SeokJong Baek, George Gagnidze, and Dmitry Belosselskiy. Daniele Callegari conducts.

Screening Date: Jan. 6, 2024

“Carmen” will star Angel Blue, Aigul Akmetshina, Piotr Beczala, and Kyle Ketelsen. Carrie Cracknell directs and Daniele Rustioni conudcts.

Hitting the silver screen will be “La Forza del Destino” with Lise Davidsen, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Brian Jagde, and Igor Golovatenko. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a production by Mariusz Trelinski.

”Roméo et Juliette” stars Benjamine Bernheim, Samanthan Hankey, Nadine Sierra, Frederick Ballentine, Will Liverman, and Alfred Walker. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

For “La Rondine,” audiences will hear Angel Blue, Emily Pogorelc, Jonathan Tetelman, and Bekhzod Davronov. Speranza Scappucci conducts.

The Live in HD series comes to a close with “Madama Butterfly” starring Asmik Grigorian, Elizabeth DeShong, Jonathan Tetelman, and Lucas Meachem.
