The Opéra de Paris has announced a cast change for its upcoming production of “Manon.”

The company noted that Joshua Guerrero has withdrawn from production in the role of Chevalier des Grieux. As a result, three tenors will take over the role.

Roberto Alagna will perform on Feb. 5, 11, and 17 while Atalla Ayan will sing on Feb. 8, 14, and 20. Finally, Benjamin Bernheim will sing performances on Feb. 23 and 26.

The three tenors join soprano Ailyn Pérez who performs the title role. The cast also includes Jean Teitgen, Andrzej Filończyk, and Rodolphe Briand. James Gaffigan conducts the production by Vincent Huguet.

Guerrero returns to the stage in April for the Dutch National Opera’s production of “Tosca” and for the Salzburg Festival’s production of “Il Trittico.”
