Josephine’s Composer Showcase to Present The Songs of Felix Jarrar
By Afton WootenFelix Jarrar’s program of new works titled “Forever In A Dream” will be performed at Josephine’s Composer Showcase.
The concert consisting solely of Jarrar’s compositions will feature sopranos Caroline Spaeth, and Cynthia López Pérez. On the program are Jarrar’s song cycles “Mermaids Who Sing” and “Eclipse” with text by Bea Goodwin and “Mad Song” with text based on a poem by William Blake.
The concert will be held in the Napoleon Room at Club Café in Boston on May 28, 2023, at 6 pm.
There is no cover or cost to attend, and all donations go to the artists on the program.
