Jonathan Tetelman to Perform Concert With Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria

American tenor Jonathan Tetelman will give two concerts this November with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.

The concerts will feature music by Verdi, Cilea, Puccini, Zandonai, Bizet, Massenet, Ponchielli, and Rossini. Karel Mark Chichon conducts.

Tetelman is a rising tenor who has already appeared on the world’s biggest stages, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Semperoper Dresden, Opéra de Lille, and Teatro Regio di Torino, among others.

Tetelman is entering the final stages of a run of Verdi’s opera “Stiffelio” at the Opéra National du Rhin, with two final performances slated for Nov. 7 & 9, 2021 at La Filature in Mulhouse. The tenor also recently signed a recording contract with the Deutsche Grammophon.

The concerts will take place on Nov. 4 & 5, 2021.
