Jonathan Tetelman & Angel Blue Highlight Metropolitan Opera’s ‘La Rondine’

The Metropolitan Opera is set to present Puccini’s “La Rondine” for eight performances.

The opera, which opens on March 26 will star Angel Blue and Jonathan Tetelman in his Met debut

They will be joined by Emily Pogorelc and Bekhzod Davronov as Lisette and Prunier and Maestro Speranza Scappucci will conduct.

The opera will be presented for the first time since 2013 in Nicolas Joël’s Art Deco–inspired staging.

The performance of “La Rondine” on April 20, will be transmitted live to movie theaters around the globe as part of the Met’s Live in HD series and the March 26, April 2, and April 20 performances will be broadcast live on Metropolitan Opera Radio on the SiriusXM app.
