Jonathan Dove & April De Angelis Among Honorees at The Ivors Classical Awards

The Ivors Academy has held its 2025 Ivors Classical Awards.
Listed below are the winners who were nominated for a work in classical voice.
“Orbits” by composed by Anna Clyne for chorus and solo violin, won Best Choral Composition.
Taking home Best Community And Participation Composition was “Uprising” composed by Jonathan Dove, a Community Opera with libretto by April De Angelis.
Finally, Best Orchestral Composition went to “Folk,” composed by Helen Grime for soprano and orchestra with libretto by Zoe Gilbert.
