Jonas Kaufmann has postponed his Feb. 2, 2024 concert at the Teatro San Carlo due to illness.

The company took to social media and noted, “We would like to inform the audience that, due to the indisposition of the artist Jonas Kaufmann, the concert scheduled for Friday 02 February 2024 will be postponed to Saturday 02 March 2024 at 8 p.m. with the same programme.”

The post added, “Those who have purchased tickets for the performance will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed with the replacement.”

Kaufmann was set to perform “The Sound of Movies” and will still perform the program on Feb. 4 in Munich and will also perform it in Baden-Baden and Prague. Kaufmann also makes his stage role debut as Enzo in “La Gioconda” at the Salzburg Easter Festival and Teatro San Carlo in March.
