Jonas Kaufmann, Katarina Bradić & Elizabeth DeShong Lead Théâtre du Châtelet’s 2024-25 Season

The Théâtre du Châtelet ⁦has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances. 

Jonas Kaufmann and Valeria Sepe perform a concert alongside the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and conductor Jochen Rieder.

Performance Date: Oct. 9, 2024

Katarina Bradić sings the title role of Händel’s “Orlando” with a cast also featuring Siobhan Stagg, Elizabeth DeShong, Giulia Semenzato, and Riccardo Novaro. Christophe Rousset conducts the production by Jeanne Desoubeaux.

Performance Date: Jan. 23-Feb. 2, 2025

The company will present “L’Arlésienne” and “Le Docteur Miracle” in a double bill. “L’Arlésienne” will star Eddie Chignara, Aurélien Bednarek, Iris Florentiny, Dima Bawab, Héloïse Mas, Marc Mauillon, and Thomas Dolié while “Le Docteur Miracle” will star Dima Bawab, Héloïse Mas, Marc Mauillon, Thomas Dolié, and Pierre Lebon.

Performance Date: May 24-June 3, 2025

Stravinsky’s “L’Histoire du soldat” will showcase the vocal talents of Vladislav Galard, Xavier Guelfi, Julie Demont, Nikolaus Holz, Chiara Bagni, Samanta Fois, and Quentin Signori. Alizé Lehon conducts the production by Karelle Prugnaud.

Performance Date: June 19-29, 2025
