The Park Avenue Armory has announced its 2023 season. Here is a look at the operatic and vocal performances for the season.

Jonas Kaufmann stars in “Doppelganger” directed by Claus Guth. The work will also feature Helmut Deutsch and the music will include Schubert’s “Schwanengesang.”

Recital Series 

Stéphane Degout and Cédric Tiberghien present a program of French art songs and German lieder including works by Fauré, Schubert, Berg, Debussy, and Lili Boulanger.

Performance Dates: April 3  & April 5, 2023

Allan Clayton and James Baillieu present a program that includes works by Schumann, Purcell, Tippett, Britten, and Nico Muhly.

Performance Dates: April 27 & 29, 2023

Julia Bullock sings a program that features music by Schubert, Weill, Converse, Berio, Rossini, Cage, and Nina Simone, among others.

Performance Dates: Sept. 11 & 13, 2023

Kate Lindsey and Justina Lee will present works by Schumann and Fauré.

Performance Dates: Oct. 16 & 17, 2023

Amina Claudine Myers Choral Workshop will perform a recital.
