Jonas Kaufmann has announced that he is featured in the film “Pumuckl und das große Missverständnis.”

The tenor announced the news on social media, stating, “I had so much fun playing an opera singer in the latest Pumuckl movie! We filmed at the Bayerische Staatsoper earlier this year, and the movie is now in movie theaters. It is so important to expose children to classical music and opera, so I was happy to be a part of this project.”

The tenor is no stranger to cinema, as he was featured in a documentary by Amazon, “Jonas Kaufmann – a global star in private.”

He also recently released a new song with Michael Patrick Kelly titled “Symphony of Peace.”
