Jonas Kaufmann, Elīna Garanča & Pretty Yende Lead Teatro San Carlo’s December Streams

The Teatro San Carlo di Napoli has announced a slate of December streaming concerts.

The purposes of this article we will only focus on operatic and vocal performances.

The Italian concerts open on with Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana” conducted by Juraj Valčuha. The opera stars Elīna Garanča as Santuzza, and Jonas Kaufmann as Turiddu.

Streaming Date: Dec. 4, 2020

The company will then present a Mozart and Bel Canto gala with Giacomo Sagripanti conducting. The soloists will include Ildar Abdrazakov, Nadine Sierra, Pretty Yende, Xabier Anduaga, and Maria Agresta.

Rossini’s La Petite Messe Solennelle will be conducted by Gea Garatti Ansini with the chorus of Teatro di San Carlo

Streaming Date: December 2020

The chorus of the Teatro di San Carlo will perform in Dalla Villanella alla Canzone Napoletana Classica.
