The Berliner Philharmoniker has announced its 2022-23 season featuring some of the greatest singers in the world. Here is a look at the vocal highlights of the season.

Georg Nigl, Dirk Rothbrust and Vilde Frang are the soloists in the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Vladimir Jurowski’s concert. The program includes music by Iannis Xenakis, Béla Bartók, and Gustav Mahler.

Performance Date: Sept. 13, 2022

Monteverdi’s “Vespro della Beata Vergine” will be performed Dorothee Mields, Barbora Kabátková, Benedict Hymas, William Knight, Samuel Boden, Reinoud Van Mechelen, Peter Kooij, and Wolf Matthias Friedrich. The Collegium Vocale Gent and Ensemble of the Collegium Vocale Gent are conducted by Philippe Herreweghe.

Ekaterina Semenchuk, Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke, and Wolfgang Koch lead a program with the Rundfunkchor Berlin and Berliner Philharmoniker. Kirill Petrenko conducts the program including music by Iannis Xenakis, Bernd Alois Zimmermann, and Luigi Dallapiccola.

La Voce Strumentale will be conducted by Dmitry Sinkovsky featuring soloists Julia Lezhneva and Luca Pianca. The program includes music by Georg Philipp Telemann, Nicola Porpora, Carl Heinrich Graun, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Adolf Hasse, and Georg Friedrich Händel.

The Berliner Philharmoniker is conducted by Daniel Harding with soloist Andrew Staples. They will perform music by Unsuk Chin, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Richard Strauss.

The Mahler Chamber Orchestra under Joana Mallwitz will perform works by Schubert and Britten. Soloists will be Andrew Staples and José Vicente Castelló.
