After competing on the world-renowned television show “The Voice,” countertenor John Holiday obtained fifth place in the competition.

The countertenor was among finalists Desz, Jim Ranger, Ian Flanigan, and the ultimate winner Carter Rubin.

During the season finale, Holiday performed alongside coach John Legend in Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” For his final solo rounds, he also performed a cover of Beyonce’s “Halo” and his original song “Where do we go.”

Holiday’s song “Where do we go” is now streaming on all platforms.

The winner of “The Voice” will receive 100,000 and a contract with Universal Recording.

Holiday began his journey on The Voice performing “Misty” and subsequently went on to win the heart of the coaches. He chose John Legend as his mentor and went on to perform songs by Celine Dion, and Stevie Wonder.

The countertenor next performs at the Dallas Opera and is set to make his Metropolitan Opera debut during the 2021-22 season.
