John Holiday Headlines ‘Lincoln Center Presents American Songbook’

Lincoln Center has announced its programming for its “American Songbook” concert series.

At the center of the series is countertenor John Holiday at The Appel Room, Jazz at Lincoln Center. The event is scheduled for March 14, 2024.

In addition to this performance, Holiday will appear at an Anniversary Gala for Arizona Opera as well as in performance with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra to close out the month of March. Then he performs in the Santa Ynez Valley Concert Serires in California before heading to the Metropolitan Opera to star in “The Hours.”

There will also be a performance featuring Afrofuturist and funk rock star Nona Hendryx on March 12, 2024; another headlined by Justin Vivian Bond on March 13; and a final one featuring Jeremy Dutcher representing the indigenous Neqotkuk people in his “Motewolonuwok” on March 20, 2024.
