John Brancy, Rihab Chaieb, Arturo Chacón-Cruz & Marie-Adeline Henry Lead Opéra de Montréal’s 2025-26 Season

The Opéra de Montréal has announced its 2025-26 season.

The season opens with Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” featuring  John Brancy, Ruben Drole, Kirsten LeBlanc, Anthony Gregory, Andrea Núñez, Sophie Naubert, Matthew Li, and William Meinert. Kensho Watanabe conducts a production by Stephen Lawless.

Performance Dates: Sept. 27-Oct. 5, 2025


The company will present the Talent Gala.

Performance Date: Nov. 11, 2025


Atom Egoyan directs  Janáček’s “Jenůfa” withNicole Paiement conductting. The production will star Marie-Adeline Henry, Katarina Karnéus, Edgaras Montvidas, Isaiah Bell, and Mikelis Rogers.

Performance Dates: Nov. 22-30, 2025


Ana Sokolović’s “Clown(s)” will be directed by Martin Genest and conducted by Jiří Rožeň. The cast includes Aline Kutan, Mireille Lebel, Andrew Haji, and Bruno Roy.

Performance Dates: Jan. 31-Feb. 8, 2026


The season closes with Bizet’s “Carmen,” featuring Jean-Marie Zeitouni conducting a cast that includes Rihab Chaieb in the title role, Arturo Chacón-Cruz, Ethan Vincent, and Magali Simard-Galdès. Anna Theodosakis directs.

Performance Dates: May 2-10, 2026
