Jonas Kaufmann is set to make his Arena di Verona debut.

The Arena di Verona announced that during the 2020 festival, the famed German tenor will make his first appearance at the legendary space in a one night special showcase currently entitled “Jonas Kaufmann Gala Event.”

The concert will be held on June 28, 2020 and is Kaufmann’s only Italian appearance scheduled for 2020 (of those that have been announced so far).

Kaufmann recently began his Wien tour which coincides with the release of his latest album for Sony Classical.
