J’Nai Bridges, Marlon Daniel Headline ‘Black Voices – Classical Music’ Webinar at Fordham University

The Fordham University Department of Art History is set to present an online webinar entitled “Black Voices – Classical Music: Part 1 – Performers.”

The event is set to take place on Feb. 26, 2021, from 5:30 – 6:40 p.m. EST. It will feature conversations with mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges as well as clarinetist Anthony McGill and oboist Toyin Spellman-Diaz. The event will be moderated by several Fordham faculty members including Marlon Daniel, Matthew Gelbart, and Angelina Tallaj.

Among the topics to be discussed during the webinar are “being a person of color in classical music” as well as “creating change throughout the Arts.”
