J’Nai Bridges Headlines Washington National Opera’s ‘Samson and Delilah’

The Washington National Opera’s  is set to present Saint-Saëns’s “Samson and Delilah” in a new production.

The production is set star J’Nai Bridges in her WNO and role debuts as Delilah and Roberto Aronica in his WNO debut. The cast will also feature rising star baritone Noel Bouley, who makes his WNO and role debut as the High Priest, and Delilah’s co-conspirator. Peter Volpe will appear as The Old Hebrew.

The production will be conducted by John Fiore while stage director Peter Kazaras will helm the new production. The creative team will also include Scenic Designer Erhard Rom, Lighting designer Robert Wierzel and Projection Designer S. Katy Tucker.

“Samson and Delilah” opens on March 1 and closes on March 21, 2020. All performances will be held in the Opera House.
