Soprano Jennifer Rowley will be Artist-in-Residence for the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory’s 2018-19 Academic year.

Rowley, an alumnus who graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 2002, is set to give master classes, private lessons, provide lectures on audition techniques, and provide tips for prospective artists. She will also appear in a concert performance on Feb. 15, 2019.

Rowley has returned to alma mater on numerous occasions over the past few years to give master classes to students.

“Beyond being a brilliant artist, Jennifer is a natural teacher,” said Marc Weagraff, chair of BW’s Voice Department in a press release. “Her love of singing and of teaching just overflows when she’s working with our students. She has an infectious energy that fills the room during her master classes. We are thrilled that she is coming home to BW to work with our students in an extended capacity.”

The soprano is currently in the midst of several high profile performances around the world.

She is set to appear at the Metropolitan Opera in “Adriana Lecouvreur” and “Tosca” in early 2019 and will also appear in a concert with Fabio Luisi at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
