Jeanine de Bique to Perform at Lincoln Center’s ‘Summer in the City’

Jeanine De Bique is set to appear alongside the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra as part of Lincoln Center’s “Summer in the City” program at the end of the month.

The soprano will perform Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” as well as arias from Mozart’s “Zaide” and “Don Giovanni.”

The performance, slated for July 29 and 30, 2022, will include Beethoven’s “Coriolan Overture,” Walker’s “Lyric for Strings,” and Copland’s “Appalachian Spring Suite.” Roderick Cox conducts.

De Bique is in the midst of a run of performances of “Moïse et Pharaon” at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence under director Tobias Kratzer and conductor Michele Mariotti. Later this year she is set to appear with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra in concert and in recital and will also perform at the Mosel Music Festival in Germany in a program entitled “Mirrors.” She will also present “Mirrors” at the Sablé Sur Sarthe Baroque Festival and at the Bayreuth Baroque Music Festival. She will also appear in the Opéra National de Paris’ production of “Le Nozze di Figaro” in the role of Susanna to close out 2022.
