Jeanine De Bique to Give Recital at the Park Ave Armory

Soprano Jeanine De Bique’s recital at the Park Ave Armory takes place on Feb. 12 and 14.

De Bique performs the works of Reynaldo Hahn, Burleigh, and Britten, as well as Caribbean folk songs. She is joined by pianist Warren Jones.

Highlights in her 2023-24 include her return to Opéra de Paris in the title role of Massenet’s “Cendrillon,” her house debut as Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni” at Staatsoper Berlin, and as Micaëla in “Carmen” at Gran Teatre de Liceu Barcelona. She is also set to give present a new recital program with Baroque arias and Caribbean folk songs with Holland Baroque on tour throughout the Netherlands, and perform with The English Concert, Philadelphia Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Netherlands
Philharmonic, and B’Rock.

This program opens the Armory’s 2024 Recital Series, which is entirely focused on vocal recitals. Future concerts are given by tenor Matthew Polenzani, soprano Leah Hawkins, tenor Karim Sulayman, and soprano Barbara Hannigan.
