
Jean-Bernard Cerin, Michele Kennedy, Pascale Beaudin & Tiburtina Headline Chatham Baroque’s 2025-26 Season
By David SalazarPittsburgh’s Chatham Baroque has unveiled its 2025-26 season. Here is a breakdown of upcoming vocal performances on offer.
First up is “Christina, Sweden’s Queen of the Arts,” a survey of the music that Queen Christina of Sweden supported with her patronage. Audiences will hear music by Lully, Corelli, Scarlatti, and Carissimi. Soprano Pascale Beaudin will headline the concert.
Performance Dates: Jan 23 – 25, 2026
Baritone Jean-Bernard Cerin and soprano Michele Kennedy headline “The Lisette Project: Haitian Creole Music.” The program finds its basis in the song “Lisette quitté la plaine” and then explores music from Haiti, France, Cuba, and New Orleans. The two vocalists are accompanied by Nicholas Matthew and Scott Pauley.
Performance Dates: Feb. 22, 2026
Closing out the season is Tiburtina, a Czech a cappella group. They will present music by Hildegard von Bingen.
