Tenor Javier Camarena has released a brand new “White Christmas” video in time for the holiday season.

The showcase features the Mexican tenor alongside pianist María Hanneman.

“We are reaching the end of a year that has imposed some major challenges: social and communal responsibility,” the tenor said in an official press statement. “Overall, things don’t look great and the health services in our country [Mexico] are on the brink of collapse. It remains a priority for us to stop thinking just of ourselves and instead to take care of each other, our society, and for each of us to assume our responsibility and to respect the regulations implemented by authorities. Only in that manner will we turn the page on this chapter of our history that has so harmed humanity.”

In addition to the video, the tenor’s holiday slate includes his participation in the Metropolitan Opera’s New Year’s Eve gala. In 2021, the tenor will appear at a gala at the Salle Garnier de Montecarlo and will then perform a tour throughout Spain.
