Time In Children’s Arts Initiative has announced “An Evening Under the Stars,” a benefit performance that will feature Janai Brugger and Bryan Wagorn, among others artists.

The performance, set for Oct. 7, 2019, will take place at a private residence in New York City.

Brugger is currently working on the Met Opera’s new production of “Porgy and Bess,” where she is taking on the role of Clara. She is also set for performances with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and will reprise the role of Clara in “Porgy and Bess” with the Washington National Opera next May.

Wagorn is an Assistant Conductor at the Metropolitan Opera who has often performed as a chamber musician, pianists, and recital accompanist for many of the world’s greatest musicians and singers. He has performed repeatedly with the Time In Children’s Initiative.

Time In Children’s Arts Initiative educates at-risk children in numerous art forms including performing arts and visual arts. The Initiative consistently brings in talent to talk to the children about great works of art and even engages them in the creative process.
