Jamie Barton, Will Liverman, Golda Schultz, Luca Pisaroni Headline Vocal Arts DC’s 2021-22 Season

Soprano Golda Schultz opens the season with a recital alongside pianist Jonathan Ware. The concert will include music by Clara Schumann, Nadia Boulanger, Rebecca Clarke, and the premiere of Kathleen Tagg and Lila Palmer’s “This be her verse.”
Streaming Dates: Sept. 17-28, 2021
Joshua Hopkins and Myra Huang perform a concert of music by Debussy, Fauré, Schubert, and the world premiere of Heggie’s “Songs for Murdered Sisters.”
Streaming Dates: Oct. 8-19, 2021
Luca Pisaroni and Maciej Pikulski will perform music by Bellini, Puccini, Donizetti, Gounod, and Saint-Saëns.
Streaming Dates: Oct. 29-Nov. 9, 2021
David Portillo and Craig Terry will perform live at the Terrace Theater.
Performance Date: Jan. 9, 2022
Will Liverman and Myra Huang will join forces for an in-person performance.
Performance Date: Feb. 1, 2022
Elena Villalón and Kathleen Kelly will perform the Gerald Perman Emerging Artist Recital.
Performance Date: March 15, 2022
Jamie Barton and Jake Heggie close out the season with the Gerald and Ann K. Perman Memorial Recital.
