Premieres
Roland Böer conducts a new production of Handel’s “Amadigi” with Andrea Bernard directing.

G Leo Hussain conducts the new production of Cimarosa’s “L’Italiana in Londra.” R.B. Schlather directs the rarely performed work.
Performance Date: Sept. 26-Oct. 30, 2021
Carl Nielsen’s “Masquerade” is set to be conducted by G Titus Engel and directed by Tobias Kratzer.
Performance Dates: Oct. 31-Nov. 28, 2021
Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Die nacht vor Weihnacten” is set to be directed by Christof Loy and conducted by Sebastian Weigle.
Performance Date: Dec. 5, 2021
Roland Böer conducts the world premiere of Hauke Berheide’s “The People Out There.” Amy Stebbins directs the new work.

Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” is set to be directed by Mateja Koležnikand conducted by Antonello Manacorda. The opera stars Heather Engebretson, Evan LeRoy Johnson, Kelsey Lauritano, and Domen Krizaj.

Luigi Dallapiccola’s “Ulisse” gets a new production conducted by Francesco Lanzillotta and directed by Tatjana Gürbaca. The opera stars Iain MacNeil, Katharina Mageira, Juanita Lascarro, Tuves Saelens, Sarah Aristidou, Andreas Bauer Kanabas, and Danylo Matviienko, among others.
