Jade Tan, Olga Peretyatko, Susanna Andersson, Bo Skovhus Headline Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s 2023-24 Season

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

The Singapore Symphony Choruses will perform as part of SSO National Day Concert. Ng Tianhul conducts.

Performance Date: August 13, 2023

The Choruses will also participate in “Chloe Chau Plays Paganini.” The ensemble will perform in Vaughan Williams’ “Toward the Unknown Region.” Mario Venzago conducts.

Performance Date: Sept. 2, 2023 

The Singapore Symphony Chorus will also present “A Haunted Halloween Hymn” under Eudenice Palaruan. The ensemble is joined by organist Loraine Muthiah.

Performance Date: Oct. 28 & 29, 2023 

The Choruses will also participate in the SSO Christmas Fundraising Concerts. Rodolfo Barráez conducts.

Performance Date: Dec. 14 & 15, 2023

The Singapore Symphony Youth Choir will perform in “Sunday Afternoon Fancies,” which features music by Finzi, Tavener, Elgar, Shearing, and Rutter, among others.

Performance Date: Feb. 25, 2024

Soprano Olga Peretyatko will present “A Night at the Opera” which features music by Gounod, Massenet, Bellini, Puccini, Verdi, and Donizetti. Mikhail Agrest conducts.

Performance Date: April 6, 2024 

The Choruses will also be featured in a performance of Brahms’ “Requiem.” Soloists include Susanna Andersson and Bo Skovhus. Hans Graf conducts.

Performance Date: April 20, 2024 

Mezzo-soprano Jade Tan and baritone Bo Skovus headline a Ravel program, which includes “L’Heure Espagnole.” Hans Graf conducts.
