The Israeli Opera is streaming operas live on Facebook.

The company announced that it will be showcasing performances from past seasons every Saturday at 6 p.m. with Hebrew subtitles; the operas will then remain on the company’s Facebook page for future viewings.

To this date the company has already streamed Puccini’s “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly,” and Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas.” The Israeli Opera is also streaming Children for Opera on Tuesdays at 5 p.m.

The operas are also being offered on the company’s official YouTube page.

The Israeli Opera recently made a video of “Libiamo” from “La Traviata” with Coronavirus lyrics with soloists from their home singing to the famed melody.

All performances at the Israeli Opera are canceled due to the coronavirus with more information set to be announced later this month.
