The Teatro Villamarta de Jerez in Spain has announced its 2020-21 season.

For the purposes of this article, we will only highlight operatic concerts.

Ismael Jordi celebrates 20 years singing with Ruben Fernandez.

Performance Date: Sept. 26, 2020

Miguel Ortega conducts Ortega’s “La Casa de Bernarda Alba” with Javier Hernandez directing.

Performance Date: Nov. 21, 2020

Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” is set to be directed by Marta Equilior and conducted by Luis Fernandez Malheiro.

Performance Dates: Jan. 22 & 24, 2021

The chorus from Villamarta will perform Orff’s “Carmina Burana.”

Performance Date: April 10, 2021

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” is the final opera of the season with Carlos Aragon conducting and Giulio Ciabatti directing.

Performance Dates: Jun 10 & 12, 2021
