Isabel Leonard, Sasha Cooke, Blythe Gaissert Headline American Opera Project’s ‘Living Room Music’ Series
By David SalazarThe American Opera Project has announced a new concert series entitled “Living Room Music.”
The event will kick off with “A Grateful Embrace,” a Mother’s Day special hosted by mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, mezzo-soprano Blythe Gaissert, pianist Daniel Gortler, and baritone Jorell Williams. Other performers include Maile Okamura, Colin Jacobsen, and Isabel Santiago.
Performance Date: May 10, 2020
Mezzo-soprano Blythe Gaissert, baritone Michael Kelly, and pianist David Fung will headline “A New Dawn,” a concert dedicated to graduates. Dan Butler, Benedict Jourdois, and Jovino Santos Neto will also perform with others artists set to be announced at a future date.
Performance Date: May 17, 2020
Mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, baritone Kelly Markgraf, and tenor Karim Sulayman will headline “An Essential Honor.” The performance also features Gordon Chambers, Tamara Tunie, and Idith Meshulam.
