Isabel Leonard Joins Promethean Artists

By Francisco Salazar

Isabel Leonard has joined the roster of Promethean Artists for worldwide general management.

The singer noted in a statement, “I am looking forward to collaborating with Promethean Artists in this next stage of my career. I’ve been a firm believer that as artists, we need to actively take responsibility for growth in our careers. Cultivating a team that shares a similar vision and goals, like Promethean and I do, is paramount for success.”

She added, “These sort of changes can be a stressful experience for everyone involved, and I’m grateful to Magnum Opus and Askonas Holt for their collaboration and support as I enter this new phase of my career.”

This season Leonard has already performed at the Metropolitan Opera and is set to make her role debut as Der Komponist in “Ariadne auf Naxos” with the company in March. She is also set to make her debut in the title role of “Carmen” in Francesca Zambello’s production at Washington National Opera; she will also make her Teatro alla Scala debut later in the summer.

Leonard is a thre-time Grammy award winner who has performed at the Opéra National de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, Los Angeles Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, San Francisco Opera, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Salzburg Festspiele, and Teatro Comunale di Bologna. She has also appeared on the season 43 finale of Sesame Street in Murray Monster’s “People in Your Neighborhood’ segment, scenes from Terrence McNally’s “Masterclass” directed by Nicole Alexander, and as a regular host of The Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD broadcasts.
