Opera Naples has announced the cast to its upcoming production of “West Side Story.”

The production will star Isabel Leonard as Maria, Alex McKissick as Tony, Carolyn Sproule as Anita, and Darren Drone as Riff. The cast will also include Eric Viñas as Bernardo and Alex Mansoori as Action.

Mark Danni is set to direct the semi-staged production, which forms part of the company’s “Under the Stars” festival.

“West Side Story” will be performed on March 12, 2021 at Baker Park in Naples, Florida. Performances will take place outdoors with socially distanced seating.

Opera Naples’ Under the Stars” festival will take place between March 10-13 and will feature a recital with tenor Joseph Calleja as well as a production of Verdi’s “La Traviata.”
