The Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart will present the Internationales Bachfest Stuttgart 2026 from March 13 to 28 under the motto “Weil wir Bach lieben!”

The festival will celebrate the music of Johann Sebastian Bach through 16 days of performances, lectures, and events across Stuttgart. Here are the vocal performances on offer.

The Young Artists Academy will feature the JSB Ensemble and Vocal Masterclass in the series “Messe im Kontext.” Kathy Saltzman Romey leads the series.

Performance Dates: March 15-19, 2026

The season will include a performance featuring the Freiburger Barockorchester and Vox Luminus in music by Teleman.

Performance Date: March 16, 2026

The JSB Ensemble will also perform Bach’s “Lutheran Masses” under Hans-Christoph Rademann.

Performance Date: March 22, 2026

Next up is a concert featuring Solomon’s Knot taking on “St. Mark Passion.”

Performance Date: March 25, 2026

The season ends with a performance of the Mass in B minor featuring Gaechinger Cantorey.
