International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch Announces 2026 Finalists

The International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch has announced the singers advancing to the Grand Finale of its 59th edition, which takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026.

The finalists named in the announcement are baritone Chao Liu of China, mezzo soprano Lea Shaw of the United States, bass baritone Evan Gray of Switzerland, baritone Thomas McGowan of the United Kingdom, tenor Jack Lee of the United Kingdom, tenor Aaron Casey Gould of the United States, baritone Yuriy Hadzetskyy of Ukraine and soprano Viktoriia Shamanska of Ukraine.

The finalists will perform with the orchestra PhilZuid, conducted by Grammy Award winning conductor Karen Kamensek. The concert begins at 7 p.m. local time, and the prize winners will be announced immediately afterward.

Singers who did not advance to the finals are invited to take part in masterclasses with members of the jury. The sessions run Oct. 7 to 9 at the Theater aan de Parade and are open to the public. Participants perform and work on arias from their competition programs.
