CortinAteatro is set to present a New Year’s Eve concert on Dec. 30, 2021.

The concert, which is set to be held at the Alexander Girardi Hall in Cortina d’Ampezzo will showcase the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta conducted by Davide Dellisanti. Dellisanti will be joined by soprano Ines Salazar, a renowned interpreter of verismo.

Among the pieces that will be performed on the evening will be the overture to Bizet’s “Carmen,” “Io sono l’umile ancella” from Cilea’s “Adriana Lecouvreur,” and the Ouerture and “Porgi amor” from Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro.” Audiences will also get to hear the Intermezzo from “Cavalleria Rusticana” as well as “Non ti scordar di me” and “Torna a Surriento.”

Journalist Elena Filini will be the host of the evening. In order to enter the concert hall all concert-goers will be required to have a green pass which shows evidence of vaccination.
