Independent Opera Company is set to present “Anna Bolena” on Jun 20 and 21, 2025 at La Cañada Congregational Church in La Cañada Flintridge, CA.

The opera will be directed by Liza Barskaya and conducted by Artistic / Music Director Galina Barskaya.

Taking on the title role will be Catherine Samartin with Patrick Blackwell as her husband Enrico. Rae Shrum is Giovanna Seymore, Ethan Miller is Lord Rochefort, Timothy Simon is Riccardo Percy, Zineb Fikri is Smeton, and Jacob Stucki is Hervey.

Both performances kick off at 7:30 p.m. local time. Part of the proceeds from the performances will go toward victims of the wildfires in California earlier this year. The work will be presented in Italian and features English subtitles.
