Incantare will join a roster of soloists and the Schola Ecclesia to perform Monteverdi’s “Vespers of the Blessed Virgin” on August 14 and 15 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Orleans, Massachusetts.

The solo lineup includes sopranos Andréa Walker and Katelyn Grace Jackson, mezzo soprano Kristen Dubenion Smith, countertenor Nicholas Garza, tenors Andrew Fuchs, Steven Soph, and Oliver Mercer, bass baritone Edmund Milly, and bass Daniel Fridley.

The August 14 performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and the August 15 performance at 3:30 p.m.

Incantare specializes in works by lesser-known composers of the Renaissance and early Baroque periods. The Schola Ecclesia draws its singers from the Church of the Transfiguration.
