“Il Barbiere di Siviglia” is set to be live streamed from Orange.

The opera, which is set to open on July 31, 2018 and will also be shown on August 4, will be broadcast on Culturebox. The new production will be directed by Adriano Sinivia and will be conducted by Giampaolo Bisanti. It is set to star Olga Peretyatko in her role debut as Rosina, Florian Sempey in the title role of Figaro, and Ioan Hotea as Count Almaviva.

The production is part of the Choregies d’Orange, which has already showcased Boito’s “Mephistophele” and which will bring “Fantasia” to the concert stage. The festival is set to end on August 4, 2018.
