Idaho Opera Announces 2022-23 Season

The Idaho Opera has announced its 2022-23 season featuring three mainstage operas.

The season opens with Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at The Egyptian Theatre.

Performance Dates: Oct. 21 & 23, 2022

Verdi’s “Macbeth” will be performed at the Morrison Center.

Performance Dates: Jan. 27 & 29, 2023

Dvořák’s “Rusalka” will be performed at the Egyptian Theatre.

Performance Dates: April 21 & 23, 2023

Add-on Productions

“Celebrando a Mexico,” a Mexican Independence Day celebration will be performed at teh Idaho Botanical Garden.

Performance Date: Sept. 18, 2022

“All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” will be performed. The piece by Peter Rothstein will be staged at the Boise Contemporary Theater.

Performance Dates: Dec. 3 – 18, 20222

Finally “American Opera” will be performed at the Egyptian Theatre.

Performance Dates: March 3 & 5, 2023

Other Events 

“Opera in the Park” will be performed at the Gene Harris Bandshell in Julia Davis Park

Performance Date: July 9, 2022

“Operatini” will be staged in The Sapphire Room at The Riverside Hotel.

Performance Dates: August 4, 2022-April 13, 2023

Critical Mass Vocal Artists will also be performed.

Performance Dates: Nov. 5, 2022-May 20, 2023
