ICEBERG New Music Collective to Present Immersive Murder Mystery Opera ‘Dinner to Die For’

By David Salazar

ICEBERG New Music Collective is set to present “Dinner to Die For,” an immersive murder mystery operatic experience in Brooklyn, New York.

The production places guests inside the story itself, transforming an intimate dinner into a theatrical event built around secrets, suspicion, and live music. With only 20 seats available per performance, the evening blurs the line between audience and cast.

The cast features mezzo-soprano Raphaella Medina, baritone Michael Weyandt, soprano Sharon Harms, and flutist and soprano Alice Teyssier, Clinical Associate Professor of Music at NYU, alongside secret guest-stars Rick Andrews and Louis Kornfield.

Executive Chef William Emery leads the culinary experience, which includes a three-course meal with complimentary wine, beer, and champagne.

“‘Dinner to Die For’ is a madcamp, mysterious romp full of twists, turns, lies, alibis, and accusations. Knives will be out – and not just to enjoy the gourmet four-course dinner created by chef William Emery. Attendees can expect to return home with their ears, bellies, and brains happy,” said Alex Burtzos, founder of ICEBERG.

“Dinner to Die For” runs May 14 through 16, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Bad Therapy, Brooklyn.
