The documentary tells the story of the famed soprano through narrations and interviews with some of opera’s great figures. Among those features are Plácido Domingo, Jonas Kaufmann, Marilyn Horne, Nina Stemme, Antonio Pappano, Christa Ludwig, Barry Tucker, Joseph Volpe, Brian Large, Clemens Hellsberg, Victor Callegari, Rutbert Reisch, Otto Schenk, Valerie Solti, and Sir John Tooly.
The documentary was written and directed by Thomas Voigt and edited and co-directed by Wolfgang Wunderlich.
