The Houston Symphony has announced a cast change for its Nov. 14 performance.
The company said, “Angel Blue has regretfully withdrawn from this week’s performance of Michael Tilson Thomas Conducts Beethoven 9 on Nov. 14. We are grateful to Ellie Dehn for stepping in on short notice!”
For her part, Dehn said, “I’m thrilled to join Houston Symphony this coming Thursday with an incredible group of colleagues, led by the legendary Michael Tilson Thomas. If you are in the Houston area, please join us!”
Dehn recently opened the Metropolitan Opera in a production of “Grounded” and this season she will perform with the Oregon Symphony.
The soprano is set to join a cast that includes Tamara Mumford, Stephen Costello, and Stefan Egerstrom.
