Houston Grand Opera Partners with Apple Music Classical

Houston Grand Opera has announced that it is partnering with Apple Music Classical.

Under this new agreement, Apple Music will release numerous historic and contemporary recordings by the company with the first release being the 2011 production of “Dead Man Walking” starring Joyce DiDonato and Frederica Von Stade. The recording was originally released by Erato / Warner Classics, but has not been remastered in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos for this release. It was made available starting on Oct. 27, 2023.

Future releases including “Intelligence,” “Werther,” “El Milagro del Recuerdo,” and “Florencia en el Amazonas.”

Additionally, there will be curated playlists, podcasts, and other programming from Houston Grand Opera on Apple Music Classical.
