Hellenic American Women’s Council to Feature Interview With Author of Greek Fire: ‘The Story of Maria Callas and Aristotle Onassis’

The Hellenic American Women’s Council will feature an exclusive online presentation by author Nicholas Gage on the subject of his “Greek Fire: The Story of Maria Callas and Aristotle Onassis.”

The Zoom discussion, scheduled for Dec. 10, 2024 will center on the stormy affair between the famed diva and the tycoon. The book was published in 2000 and per an official press release “is considered the most historically accurate and brought to light new information never released to the public.”

The event is presented as part of the celebration of Callas’ birth centennial. Leading the interview will be journalist and author Maria Karamitsos.

In addition to his work on “Greek Fire,” Gage was an executive producer on “The Godfather Part III” and co-wrote an early draft of the script with Mario Puzo. He is also the honorary President of the World of Epirotes and recipient of The International Center in New York’s Award of Excellence. His other works include “Eleni” and “A Place for Us.”
