Haydn Foundation Opera Festival Announces 2022 Season

The Haydn Foundation Opera Festival has announced its 2022 season, which will take place in Bolzano and Trento.

Here is a full slate.

Anna Sowa and Martina Badiluzzi’s opera “Silenzio” features Giulia Zaniboni, Victor Andrini, Pietro Paolo Dinapoli, Margherita Berlanda, and Dorota Jasinska-Urbanska.

Performance dates: March 4 – 6, 2022

Next up is Nicola Sani and Franco Ripa di Meana’s “Falcone.” The opera stars Roberto Scandiuzzi, Gabriele Ribis, Salvatore Grigoli, and Angelo Romagnoli. Marco Angius conducts a production by Stefano Simone Pintor.

Performance dates: March 12 – 13, 2022

Manuela Kerer and Martin Plattner’s opera “Toteis” spotlights Isabel Seebacher, Verena Gunz, Alexander Kaimbacher, Bernhard Landauer, and Klemens Sander. Walter Kobéra conducts a production by Mirella Weingarten.

Performance dates: March 16 – 17, 2022

Finally, Thomas Adès and Philip Hensher’s opera “Powder her Face” stars Sophie Marilley, Timur, Alison Scherzer, and Graeme Danby. Timothy Redmond conducts a production by Julien Chavaz.

Performance dates: March 25 – 26, 2022
