All performances will be staged at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Friday and Tuesday performances start at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinee performances will begin at 4:00 pm.
Hawaii Opera Theater Reveals 2019-20 Season
By Francisco SalazarThe Hawaii Opera Theatre has announced its 2019-20 season. The season will feature three productions of some of the most beloved operas.
The season opens with Puccini’s “Tosca” conducted by HOT Principal Conductor/Artistic Director Emmanuel Plasson.
Performance Dates: Oct. 11, 13, 15, 2019
The second production of the season will be Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” featuring Starring Ryan Kuster in the title role, Amina Edris as Susanna, and Edward Parks as Count Almaviva.
Performance Dates: Feb. 14, 16, 18, 2020
The final opera of the season will be Strauss’ epic “Salome” featuring the dance of the seven veils. Karen Tiller will direct the production with HOT Principal Conductor/Artistic Director Emmanuel Plasson conducting the work.
Performance Dates: April 24, 26, 28
